GOOMBY TOUR 2009
The GOOMBY TOUR will be a national tour featuring the skateboarding stars of tomorrow, highlighted by world-class rock performances by bands such as Fall Out Boy, Paramore, Yellowcard, or Hinder, culminating in a high-energy skateboarding tournament to crown the new face of GOOMBY. The GOOMBY TOUR kicks off with a preliminary festival in Los Angeles, slated for March, 2009, which will be attended by luminaries from the worlds of skateboarding and entertainment. It will serve as a preview of the tour’s 2009 format for invited members of the press. The tour will be filmed for television, and a separate “behind the scenes” crew will shoot additional footage for a potential spin-off show or film.
